Eight Steps to Happiness: The Practice of Loving Kindness

Why is it so hard to be and stay happy? According to Buddha, it’s not.
In fact, it can be done in as few as 8 steps. What it requires is a
drastic change in the way we view ourselves and others, as well as in
how we respond to the conflicts and hardships that arise in our lives.

Based on the book “Eight Steps to Happiness,” this series will
introduce us to eight inspiring verses which comprise one of
Buddhism’s most popular teachings, Eight Verses for Training the Mind.
Each verse will show us how to transform our mind from our ordinary
self-oriented perspective into the loving, courageous and wise heart
of a Bodhisattva, a being bound for enlightenment.

Through talks and guided meditations, Joseph will take us into the heart of this practice. Everyone welcome.
