Creating Our Reality

Exploring the Power of Our Mind to Shape Our World

with David Nuss

Saturday, December 14, 11:00am-12:15pm + Q&A

Creativity is often seen as the act of bringing to life art or music or storytelling of all kinds. For some, being creative in these ways is something they actively pursue, either as a passion or even as our “day job.” For others, the notion of being creative may feel terrifically foreign.

From the Buddhist perspective, every one of us is creating every moment of the day. We may think that the world and our experiences are things that are happening to us from “out there.” But as we discover through meditation and Buddha’s teachings, it’s actually our mind that is creating our world.

For those who already identify as a “creative”, this process of world-building may be familiar, but even then, most likely not in the way that it truly shapes their day-to-day experiences of life.

Just as a writer chooses their words or a painter their colors, with Buddha’s teachings and meditations we can learn how to create a vibrant path that brings us more happiness and freedom. Join us in this special one-session Saturday course where David will help us explore how we can create a better reality – even if we’ve never played a note in our life.
