A Recipe for Daily Joy
How to Avoid Getting Worn Down by the Day-to-Day Grind
We can often feel weighed down by our day-to-day struggles, negative patterns of thought or even just dulled by the treadmill of daily life. In response we put tremendous energy in search of “hits” of happiness from external circumstances ranging from our friends to our phones.
We may wish to change and for our lives to go in a better direction but for that to happen we need to connect with the potential that exists within our minds. The profound tools of transformation within Buddhist meditation gives us the ability to become the person we wish to be: peaceful, kinder, more dynamic and confident, happier, more loving. In this half-day retreat, Ben will show how we can use meditation to connect to profound peace within our mind every day.
