Sustaining Your Path to a New You

Learn the Art of Relying on a Happy Mind

It’s that time of year when we want to start something new in our lives that might bring some change and some happiness. We call these New Year’s resolutions. But by the end of January many of us feel like we’re at mile 26 in the New York City marathon and run out of steam. Before we know it, the good feelings that come with our efforts to bring change to our lives have faded and they’re replaced by the same old, same old.

But Buddhist meditation offers up a way to help us keep going. It’s the perfect time to apply the training-the-mind exercise of relying upon a happy mind alone. In this half-day course, we’ll look at some practical ways to settle into a rhythm that is sustainable and practical and keep us on the road to change.
